Refund policy

Thirty days

You have thirty days from the day your piece arrives to send it back. It needs to be unworn, and in whatever it arrived in. Write to jason@atlasvaelo.com first and I will give you an address.

The return address is not printed on this page, for a plain reason: it can change, and an address published on a website goes stale without anyone noticing. Writing first also means I know a parcel is coming.

If it isn't right

Write to me within 30 days and we'll sort out the return together. Send a photo along with your message so I can see what happened.

This covers all of it: a piece that arrived damaged, the wrong one sent, something that is not what the page described, or simply not the right thing for you. If something arrived damaged or is not what the page described, the postage is mine. I would rather hear about it and work it out than have you keep something you do not want.

Refunds

I refund you once it reaches me and I have looked it over. Refunds go back to the card or account you paid with, and depending on your bank it can take a few days to appear. That last part is out of my hands.

The stone itself is listed again, under the same number it left with, and waits. If you ever go looking for it later and it is gone, it found someone else.

Engraved pieces stay with you

If a piece was engraved with words you chose, it cannot come back. It was made only for you, and there is no one else it fits — I cannot resell it and I cannot unengrave it. Where this applies, it is said before you order rather than after.

A stone that is not the one you pictured

Every moonstone is natural and cut from different rough, so no two are alike, and the one that arrives will not look exactly like a photograph. A moonstone's light moves as it tilts, which means a single frame cannot show it honestly. That is the nature of the material rather than a fault, and it is most of the reason to want the piece at all.

If the difference feels like more than that, write and tell me. I would rather hear it.

Something not covered here

Write to jason@atlasvaelo.com. Atlas Vaelo is one person, so an answer can take a few days, but nothing goes unread.
